DEVELOPMENTAL THERAPY INSTITUTE |
DTI is a nonprofit institute founded by Dr. Mary Wood, professor emeritus of special education at the University of Georgia. Dr. Wood and her staff are committed to helping students who are severely emotionally disturbed, those with autism, children at-risk, and students with other special needs who also have difficult-to-manage behavior.
The institute provides professional development, coaching and resources to educators, therapists, school psychologists, childcare staff, parents and others who are concerned about the social, emotional and academic growth of children and teens. DTI's Professional Advisory Council is composed of certified instructors and consultants who are experts in Developmental Therapy-Teaching and the DTORF Online rating tool. |
